Bonjour! I’m Steph

The heart, soul, and eyes behind the camera. Photography is more than just a simple click; it’s a way of living, observing, and connecting. It’s about feeling, noticing the moments in between, and telling authentic stories. When I’m not behind the lens, I’m with my daughter, Loup, soaking in les petits plaisirs de la vie, the little joys of life, and staying grounded in my Mediterranean way of living life. You won’t see me chasing trends. I follow my heart, not awards or algorithms. Photography is deeply personal and rooted in my values. I grew up in Le Cannet on the French Riviera, studied cinema and photography in Cannes and Paris, and worked at Daylight Studios, where I discovered my love for reportage and fashion/editorial photography. Inspired by artists like Nan Goldin, I became a freelance fashion photographer in Paris and was represented by Ford Models Europe. My experience both behind and in front of the camera shaped how I photograph people, with empathy and depth. During my years in Paris, I also exhibited some of my work and co-organised exhibitions with other artists. My focus has always been on building community and bringing people together through creative expression. Now based in Melbourne (Narrm), I founded Photograph Your Story, dedicated to documenting love in all its forms: weddings, families, everyday magic, and human connection. I choose to stay local, valuing sustainability, community, and a lighter footprint. (Fun fact: I wear barefoot shoes, the best way to stay connected with my body!) Outside of photography, I’m also a social worker, passionate about mental health, women’s empowerment, and neurodiversity, a journey I’m personally on and constantly learning from.
